L.A. Union Station Train Festival

Join BuildSD and the entire San Diego Transit Month coalition as we take a field trip to LA for Union Station Train Festival! Train Festival is the ultimate celebration of rail in Los Angeles - plus, you can explore the brand new Foothill Extension of the Metro A Line!

We'll be taking Metrolink train 1661 from Oceanside to LA Union Station at 8:27 AM, then Metrolink train 1668 which returns to Oceanside at 6:35 PM.

Train Festival runs all day (and also runs Saturday, Sep 20), so you may also opt to take a Pacific Surfliner or Metrolink train from San Diego or Oceanside at a time that works better for you. If you RSVP, we'll keep you in the loop with texts so you can meet up with us.

Union Station Train Festival is presented by Metro, Metrolink, and Amtrak, and the San Diego Transit Month ride-along is presented by BuildSD. RSVPs for the ride-along are recommended.
